On-Device Recognition
Text is recognized locally on your device. Raw screen images or video recordings are NEVER sent to our servers.
Zero User Profiling
Jevis has no account registration, no advertising SDKs, and no tracking of your personal identity or conversation archives.
1. Scope & Overview
This Privacy Policy applies to the Jevis iOS application, the Jevis Custom Keyboard, and screen sharing features. It governs how data is handled with privacy and security at every step.
2. Information Processed
Screen Content: While screen sharing is active, screen content is processed strictly on your device to read visible chat messages. Raw screen images never leave your phone.
Chat Text: Visible messages recognized on-device are used solely to determine conversation intent and generate appropriate reply suggestions.
API Credentials: If you configure custom API keys in settings, they remain stored securely on your device and are transmitted exclusively over encrypted connections to your designated provider.
Purchases: In-App Purchases and subscription entitlements are verified directly with Apple App Store. Jevis does not store financial or credit card information.
3. Purpose of Processing
All processing is strictly functional: to understand conversational subtext, protect you from emotional missteps, and generate contextual replies. We do not sell data, build ad profiles, or monetize your personal conversations.
4. AI Processing
When generating reply candidates, relevant text is sent over encrypted connections to the AI service (or your own custom endpoint) to produce suggestions. Those services process requests according to their respective privacy terms.
5. Data Storage & Retention
Jevis does NOT operate a cloud database for user chats. Recent screen recognition data is temporarily overwritten in local memory. Deleting the app immediately purges all locally stored configuration and cache from your device.
6. Your Rights & Choices
You can stop screen sharing at any second via the iOS status bar. You can clear or alter credentials at any time. You have full control over what is sent in every chat.
7. Security
All network communications use secure encryption. Local data is protected within your device's secure operating environment.
8. Children's Privacy
Jevis does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13.

Any future policy updates will be posted on this page with the revision date prominently displayed.
